Cristiano “Mr. Hey” Marcello is a Brazilian native looking to make his cage debut in Art of War 3 USA vs. Brazil as a member of team Brazil. Cristiano is matched against team USA member and Dallas native, Hector Munoz. As the head coach of the ground game for the Chute Boxe team, he splits his time between coach and fighter in preparation for Art of War 3.

Cristiano currently holds a black belt of Royler and Rickson Gracie and studies the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. The 5’9” 156 lb. Cristiano has a professional MMA record of six wins and two losses. When Cristiano steps into the cage on September 1, he feels that his best weapon against Hector will be his dynamic Jiu-Jitsu ground game where he feels confident when he plays below.

Cristiano recently fought Mitsuhiro Ishida in PRIDE Bushido 12 where he lost by a controversial unanimous decision. Cristiano is also currently participating in the training of Japanese fighter Kazushi Sakurha, who faced the legendary Royce Gracie in Los Angeles on June 2.
