Training out of the American Top Team, “Jorghino” will have the tough task of taking out Jeremy Horn to notch a win for Team Brazil. This 5-year veteran, however, is also one of the most dangerous fighters in the sport with knockout power and superb submission skills.

At the age of 11, Santiago took up judo and quickly moved onto Brazilian jiu-jitsu training under the tutelage of Angelo Manoovane. Soon he became part of the Brazilian Top Team and earned his BJJ black belt in 2003. Santiago moved to the states where he has remained as part of the American Top Team.

After fighting in the UFC, Santiago’s last fight was a stellar performance and TKO victory over Russian favorite Andrei Semenov. His aggressive fighting style and unorthodox movements will no doubt be tested against Team
